Agency note: Community Dietetics began as a non-degree internship program in nutrition education in August, 1968.  A proposal to create an undergraduate dietetics program was made to Dean Darrel Mase on January 29, 1970.  The program, however, was not implemented until 1974 when the American Dietetics Association awarded the program “developmental accreditation” status.  The degree program was terminated in 1992.  The Program Director was Ann P. Emerson.

Contents note: Consists of core administrative records and scrapbooks of the Dept. of Clinical and Community Dietetics.  The administrative records cover only the years from 1981-1990 and include annual reports, a department history and related materials, and program review materials.  The scrapbooks contain both photograph and clippings.
